How do I upload a picture?

In order to upload a picture, you will need to click "Add New Entry", which can be found on the black bar at the top of the screen.

From here click on the "Choose a photo"

Your browser will access your computer's folders and from here you will need to select your image.

You will then be asked if you would like to choose the title, write a description, tag the image and whether you would like to share it on Facebook or Twitter.

Once you have finished this, simply click publish to finish uploading your Blip!

What is the difference between basic and advanced uploads?

It took me quite a while to upload my chosen photo for a 'Backblip' this morning, and I turned my attention to something else. When I checked back the text beneath the thumbnail read: "Your photo is being uploaded: 100%" but the 'Publish' button was greyed out and it seemed there was nothing I could do to fix the problem. In the end I abandoned the attempt, and tried again this evening.

The same thing happened - but this time I was watching closely as the upload got to 100%, and I noticed an orange banner flash briefly across the head of the screen saying the file I had chosen was larger than the maximum file size that was allowed. But still as far as I could see, there was nothing I could do about this to put things right, except to start all over again...

So - my experience here was one of frustration, luck, and more frustration! Besides: as a new (or in my case, a regular) Blipfoto user, how am I supposed to know there is a limit, and what that limit is?
