How do I link to another web page in a comment?

To add a link into a comment, simply click the 'Insert a link' button that can be found at the bottom right of the comment box. From here, simply type in the web address of the link, and any text you want to be associated with the link.

In order to avoid loads of nasty spam, we only allow you to post a comment after you've posted your tenth entry.

Currently (19th Dec) I cannot link from my journal to elsewhere. Can anyone tell me the code to type for including a link? For some reason this option (including bold, italics, underline, strikethrough) is not available to me in the corner of the box when I type my entry or leave a comment. I'm looking for ways round it.
    Thank you.

    Hi there,

@JJ46 Are you using your smart device to access the website? Currently the website on smart phones or tablets does not have text formatting functionality, however this is something that we are looking into.

    Thanks.

Yes, I've since discovered that I cannot do this when I access on my tablet but it's ok on a PC. However, with another blipper's help I have worked out what to type (various square brackets etc) to put a link etc in, rather a button to press. I'm pleased to hear you're looking into the problem and hope you are able to sort it out. You have so much to do at the moment... so thank you for responding to my query!
