If you opened a Blipfolio on the old site, you can still access it by typing www.blipfoto.com/blipfolio into your browser's address bar, while you are logged in and viewing your journal (if you try to do this at any other time it will not work).
Alternatively you can access it using the following address www.blipfolio.com/<your_username>
This original Blipfolio URL will be retained, so if you shared it with other people in the past, they will still be be able to access it.
If you want to make changes to your Blipfolio you will have to use the first access method so you can see the edit menu. There you can add images or folders (up to a maximum of 15 images in up to 5 folders) just as you did before, using the icons on the bottom left hand corner of the screen.
I presume at some stage in the future you will re-integrate it with our profiles - unless you are intending to let it wither
that doesn't answer the question What has happened to it .
It's still here with out any link inside Blipfoto. You have to go out to your browser and enter the URL... this is nuts. I hope it gets fixed soon.
I expect it to be restored soon, please !! It's part of what I pay full membership for and I want to be able to access it through my blip page as before
I don't understand the comments above about wanting it "restored". It's still there, at the same address as before. For example,
http://www.blipfolio.com/Veronica
The only thing missing is a link from your journal, and it's hardly rocket science to bookmark it instead. I think there are a lot more important issues than this to deal with!
PS another thing you could do is put a link to your Blipfolio in your bio on your profile page.
This was meant to make things better easier I don't think missing links achieves this what ever " Veronica " thinks, and here we go down the road of fragmenting what was a happy community!
it is still there but how do you update it? That's foxing me.
True, the old Blipfolio site still exists but I cannot find a way to add any further images to it. Has anyone else succeeded?
When I try and link to mine I get a message
"Sorry, this member has disabled their folio.
They're probably just making some updates - why not cruise over to blipfoto.com while you wait?"
As far as I am aware I haven't disabled it and I can't find any way to enable it!
Please could someone tell me: HOW DOES ONE LOG IN TO BLIPFOLIO?
The icons for loading new material don't appear unless you are logged in - but there is no login page. I can only view my own blipfolio as a visitor.
Hear, hear, Veronica. I created a link to my Blipfolio in my profile.
As with gen2, I'm afraid I can't figure out how to log in, so can only view Blipfolio?
Can't add and can't delete. So, it doesn't work!
I'm also getting the "Sorry, this member has disabled their folio" message when I try to view my blipfolio, so the information above may not be accurate for everyone.
I hope we get an official answer soon to clarify whether or not this feature is coming back as integrated part of Polaroid Blipfoto.
You know, if you create a spot to answer questions, you should answer them.
I never used the Blipfolio function but found now that if I would like to start with it it seems to be impossible... :(
I have found that the blipfolio site seems to work fine in Internet Explorer. If I sign into blip as normal, then got to www.blipfoto.com/blipfolio in the same browser, it signs me in automatically and I can then see the icons to add new images. This isn't working in Chrome as yet.
Aha - that seems to have fixed it now! I have been trying to view the site as http://www.blipfolio.com/madwill as per Veronica's post and was getting the 'site disabled' message . However as per nicky's post I (signed in to blipFOTO) and used the http://www.blipfoto.com/blipfolio link and hey presto into the site. At the bottom left of the screen is a group of button and one of these (looks like a Power button from a tv remote) allows the site to be closed to visitors. Clicked this and it turned green. I can now access the http://www.blipfolio.com/madwill from any browser without signing in.
Thanks madwill & nicky that works for me too in Safari. But you have to ask why did blip not just keep a button or menu option on the main blipfoto site to make life easy for everyone ?
Attempted to look for a way to edit my blipfolio several times to no avail. Help admin! :)
