Compliments of the season to you.
The following is from using a WIndows PC with browser software, and will likely be the same on a Mac too. It will hopefully allow you to download the original file you uploaded to Blipfoto:
- Log into the site;
- Go to any of the Blip entries you're interested in;
- Click on the "+" in a circle, next to "More info" on the right hand side below the photo, and any associated tags;
- This will reveal any details of the camera and settings (the EXIF data), and will also show three little icons below that, which can be clicked. From the left: the first is to Edit the entry; the second to Delete the entry; and the third, is to Download the entry - click on that third one, and when prompted, save it somewhere appropriate... where you can find it again!
Might be a good idea to first create a folder to contain all the images. And when downloading them, if you want to keep them in date order, save them with an appropriate filename - assuming they're all from 2014, just using two digits for the month, followed by say a das,h and then two digits for the day, should keep them in order, e.g. 12-31 for Hogmanay, and 01-01 for today. They should automatically retain the ".jpg" part of the filename - check after downloading a couple.
A separate note that hopefully doesn't apply to you, but may apply to others - if you only upload smaller versions of the images, and due to some disaster were to lose all your full-sized ones at home, you'd only have those smaller versions available to you. They likely not be much use for creating prints from in the future, should you or others in the family want to do so. Something to bear in mind...
Good luck, and please give some feedback here for the benefit of others if this helps... or doesn't!
