rules are NO more...
you do not need to take a photo a day...
in fact you do not need to take a photo at all!...(screen grabs, scanning old photos...pinching images from internet...anything goes!...)
we could now safely take the "foto" out of blipfoto and just call it BLIP?

FollowHave the rules changed
Someone I follow has posted "I took this shot yesterday, but as it is raining I thought this would do for today".
Why hasn't blip picked this up?

There's still a "The entry appears to be dated incorrectly" tickbox if you click the "report" button (you'll find it if you click "more info").
With the volume of traffic, I'm sure Blipfoto moderators can't look at every posting in detail. That's why it's worth reporting misdated entries.
Though of course, whether they act on it is their call.
reporting does NOT work...and as you correctly put it: it's their call and there's no point in bothering!?...
but if at least blipfoto told us not to bother...ah! that would be...excellent!?
Hi disdatdudda - no, I didn't say it's not worth bothering.
If I see stuff that breaks the rules, I report it. As far as I can tell, sometimes that gets acted on, sometimes not. Whether anything happens as a result, I don't concern myself with.
It used to be that if you posted a photo with wrong or no EXIF data, so the date didn't match the day you were uploading it to, it would get held in a moderation queue (I did this a couple of times by accident). Doesn't that happen any more?
hi red...if only i could be as wide as you!...if i;m going to bother, i'd like to think somebody...somewhere is listening!?
(and no, you never said it's not worth bothering...i may have though...)
