Completely agree! I'd especially like to see the return of new journals.

Finding new journals
With the new site it is much harder to a) find new journals to follow and b) encourage new members by visiting their journals.
Blip needs ways for people to discover each other and the removal of the following:- new journals, popular journals, the spotlight and the function on the app where you could see who the people you followed were favouriting, all limit the exploration and function of the site.
The return of some of these features or similar new ones would stop us stagnating.

I agree 100%. I think particularly when you're new a few welcoming comments keep you coming back. I think if I joined now I probably wouldn't stay - it was the community aspect that kept me going during those early "what am I doing here" days.
