how about a challenge that gets people taking photos from different angles / heights so many people only take photos wight he camera at eye/ head height, this challenge would get them thinking differently :-)
Write down here your suggestions of a theme for the weekly challenge.
It can be based around anything, however try to think of themes that can be open to interpretation.
For example, 'Motion' is a great example, 'Bike' maybe not so much..
Try to keep it short and snappy, 2 words at max for the theme and less than 15 words for the description.
For example:
"Seasonal"
"Snow or sunshine, define where you are - and how you see it."
If you're suggestion is picked to go forward for the vote, it will be found on the Challenges page here https://www.blipfoto.com/activities/challenges
Good luck!

Majesty
Capture the majestic nature of something.
New years resolutions gone bad!
Chantler's Challenge
Seven words to stimulate your creativity: meticulous, fragile, weird, numerous, quitessence, tawdry, ornament
Here's something a bit different, that was proposed on the worst possible day (pre-site revamp). Also note the comments, as the format, or tweaked versions of it, could be used in many other challenges, without being too onerous on the original proposers.
I realise that it doesn't entail everyone finding an image each week, but many journals are far more than just good pictures. The text counts too!
Suggestion for challenge: Looking Out.....what you see when you look out one of your windows.
Your Eyes
Your eyes tell a story. What's yours?
Filter Friday
A view of your world seen through any kind of filter - literally or figuratively speaking
"Something's missing"
Maybe it's obvious what you'd expect to find in the gap, or maybe it's less certain ...
My suggested theme is UNDERGROUND. It does not hav e to be literally underground. It cod be something that us generally hidden from view to most of us. Of course there coud be other interpretations.
Flower Friday
Anything remotely floral ....
"Working day"
What does your working day look like and what does it say about you?
7 portraits 7 days
Make Do
Capture how we make do in life, could apply to anything, objects, people etc...
Night Photography. Anything 30 minutes after sunset!
Water
Bridges. Small, huge, high, low.
Lost property, random items found in the street, park etc
Waves.
"Color"
Whatever it is, a rainbow, crayons, sunset... Capture it bursting with color and life
Tea time.
What are you having today?
A snapshot of cuisine around the world.
I see tilda6062 has suggested 'Colour', which is a great idea. My suggestion is to follow Mono Mondays (a challenge with a big following, that has been going for more than a year) with Technicolour Tuesdays. Anything bold, bright and colourful or multicolored will fit the bill.
"Household Abstract"
Find beauty in the mundane.
Metaphor
an expression, often found in literature, that describes a person or object by referring to something that is considered to have similar characteristics to that person or object.
Have fun with Proverbs.
Tractor Tuesday
Highlighting farming all over the world!
Night forests
When it's night take a photo of a forest and put on an effect
Wood
Whether a group of trees, the grain on a table top or a project in the making
I would like to suggest a theme for a month's challenge, like I have done in the past. The challenge would be called BCAM - Breast Cancer Awareness Month. October is BCAM, and I have encouraged blippers to blip something pink for the entire month in support of Breast Cancer awareness and to click on this ... http://thebreastcancersite.greatergood.com/clickToGive/bcs/home?4
site everyday or as often as they can, to give free mammograms to those in need.
