When does the hosting run out?

I am an ex blipper from long ago whose partner is still active on the site...
BlipFoto is in liquidation not administration. Hosting for the site will have been paid for up to a certain date then the hosting will be switched off. Does anyone know that date?
As an asset what happens to the database with all the financial and personal data on it?
If it is maintained then who owns it?
Is the password you use for blip the same as other accounts? I would start changing them!
The site is obviously a dead man walking, with no admins it may be better for it to close sooner rather than later.
A Sad Day...

Interesting to see that although blip central have failed to answer anyone's questions over the last days/weeks...they HAVE been keeping an eye on the site as they have removed the title of my forum posting which was Joe Tree's email address!

@mydartmoorwalks No; it was a staff member called s2. Who presumably also removed my blip for today...but won't let me replace it with something else!

I would imagine they host on maybe amazon cloud servers? This costs a wedge, when that runs out the site goes dark. I hope they have escrowed the database. Hope they will also delete all local copies. Also local copies of any encryption keys. Let's hope they cannot just walk away legally without ensuring data integrity, but these sort of questions need answering.

There is a lot of conjecture about at the moment, try to keep a sense of perspective. There is already information out there that there is interest in keeping the site going. Negotiations appear to be on going. Give it time and keep the faith, as soon as an announcement can be made I am sure things will become a lot clearer.

BC may have been prevented from saying anything.

ah, the silence!
