Choosing thumbnail

I'm with blast - haven't found it either and really like to choose the thumbnail for the entries ...... so please bring it back.... :-))

I loved the thumbnail feature too!

The default centred thumbnail just looks crap. Portraits end up with peoples heads being cut off which just makes peoples journals look amateurish. I have always put a lot of thought and effort into choosing my own thumbnails and it seems that all of this work and effort has just been discarded.

I agree choosing the thumbnail was an important perk of being a paid member and part of the 'selling' of your blip on the browse page.

Choosing your own thumbnail is very important. Please bring it back. Some of the thumbnails just look ridiculous now and they stay with the journal entry forever,

I couldn't find the thumbnail crop either. I use it all the time. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction before tomorrow's post.

I also really liked the thumbnail feature and quite frankly I preferred the earlier version of Blip.

I loved hiding behind my thumbnails. now there is nowhere to hide. I feel naked.

One of the main reasons I took out full membership was the thumbnail feature...

I'm another one who paid for full membership largely for the thumbnail feature. Please bring it back! And, hopefully, correct all the thumbnails from the last month which have reverted to the default, negating the care we put into choosing them.

Dropping thumbnail selection temporarily is one thing, dumping all the thumbnails on past entries is appalling.

Dear BlipCentral, I'm glad to hear that! I do realise how hard you must have worked to rush this upgrade out, and I feel bad that there's so much negative feedback after all the effort you put in. Any chance of a roadmap of which features are going to be restored when? It might calm some of the ire.

A roadmap would be a great idea – at the moment I'm feeling rather disheartened by all the changes, even taking into account teething problems, which are inevitable with any new site. I'm regretting paying for lifetime membership, to be completely honest.

Thank you! Someone mentioned a road map of what will be reinstated in due course - seems like a good plan to me and will certainly save all these postings you have to plough through. The site IS much faster now I'm pleased to say.
