FollowBig problems with the mobile design
When I try out the mobile design (on an iphone 4s) it's obvious that the screen estate is not used in an efficient way. 1/3 of the screen is used for the black blipfoto menu, my profile image and name. The purpose of the blipfoto menu is just to give access to the white bars that links to the menu. 1/4:th of the area is used just to give access to the three white bars! Then comes my profile image and my name (twice - Necromancer by necromancer?)
After that comes the date and navigation bars. When these items are presented more than half of the screen estate is used up.
That means that 1/3 of the actual image is visible. Now, If I actually use the navigation arrows in the navigation bar, that means that I have to scroll on every page to see the images.
This is not good design.
I suggest that you get rid of the navigation bars and let the user "swipe" or touch on one of the sides of the image to navigate between new and old pictures. Remove the brown "blipfoto" area and just keep the stripes. You have to collapse the top of the page to let the user see the picture. After all it's a picture site.
