They're not working properly. I "lost" 30 views on the entry just before the change, which reverted to just one afterwards. I visited one person's journal entry that had 0 views. When I went back later, it still had 0 views, so my view hadn't counted.

Same for me.

I have had notification of people awarding stars but none showing when I look at my own but they are showing when someone else looks. So I think something to do with the template of looking at our own blip. It would appear to me that the views count is now counting viewers not the number of times people return which is what used to be counted. Previously views were artificially inflated. But I am not sure that the views counting is right as I have seen blips with more comments than views and that just can't be right.
