I think you've done a marvellous job Blip Central & worked so hard on our behalf however, I do totally agree with Friedaquilter and I have lost count of how many other blipper's have said the same thing. Loosing the grey is loosing the very essence of Blip. The intimacy. The wonderful showy background for photos & it's whole identity. I know not many of us enjoy change but this does seem a change too far for the wrong reasons. Blip visually now appears identical to Instagram & other 'bog standard' social media sites. Please bring back the grey

FollowWhite Background
It doesn't seem to be covered as a topic although many people have mentioned it in their comments. Please, oh please, can we have the grey back or at least the option for grey. This stark white doesn't show photographs to their best advantage which is surely Blip's foremost aim, and it is also very bad for the eyes, and in my case headache inducing. I could turn my screen down but in all honesty I need the brightness for other purposes so that won't happen. I will stick with the site (I am a life member) and see how it goes but fear that such whiteness will mean I will use it less and less. Any reason for this change? Did the survey produce many people who didn't like the grey? And if not, why the change.

There is a long discussion on this Frieda in the section designated for feedback on the site changes. Many other people don't like the white background. I can't speak for Blip Central but it's almost certainly related to the site breakdowns.
i'm a life member too , i've mentioned the awful background a few times since it came on-line . i think the whole design is appaling , looking like photobucket all of the professional look has gone
Erm.
I like the white.
And I like the spacing between the shots on the home page.
Perhaps (perhaps) it might change how I take my shots.
Maybe that's not a bad thing.
Are people going shout at me now?
