Call me a trouble maker......but I really love the white screen. I think it makes everything much easier to read.
I notice though, that lots of people dislike it intensely. Perhaps full members should be able to choose their background colour?
Just a thought.

it's not so much "like or dislike" as accessibility...many people have problems with their eyes and any web designer worth their salt knows that these issues (eyesight, dyslexia etc) have to be considered when working on a design. i'm surprised blipfoto didn't!? i love white walls etc...but i can hardly read comments i get...and after a few minutes my eyes are exhausted.
@disdatdudda.......I'm sorry you don't like the way I worded my comment. All I was doing was making a suggestion based on comments I've seen from others.
The blip team are taking quite a battering from us....and discovering that no matter what you do, you can't keep everyone happy.
I'm sure they'll make more changes when they've read all the feedback. Perhaps the white background will be one of them.
it's not that i dislike the wording of your comment...i was just explaining that it's not as simple as "like/dislike" white as a background (oh dear this is more and more like facebook now!) ...there are serious issues of accessibility...that's all...

Hopefully the great Blip rulers will take note of what people want.
