Question about Browse screen thumbnail order

On the Browse screen, when I click Following, are the thumbnails now in order of photo date as opposed to uploaded date? So that if someone I follow posts a backblip a few days late, it will disappear off the front page before I see it? If so, could it be changed to uploaded date (or offer a choice)?
