In the good old days, I saw notifications when anyone/everyone reached a blip-landmark. Putting aside the question of what the landmarks mean any more, are these notifications still around. I'm only seeing notifications from people I already follow. Is this 'disappeared' functionality or just temporary?

I do hope that this is just a temporary "blip". Being able to join in celebrate other folks's landmarks - whether you subsibed to their journals or not - was one of the things that made Blipfoto really special.
Pretty sure none of that's working, not even the follower notifications. Posted my 2000th blip yesterday, the screen froze white (as if there wasn't enough of that around) after I posted, with no notification to say it had went through. I checked in another browser window though, and it had been published. No notification came into myself or went out to any followers, and even the Twitter notification that I have set to post when I do didn't go out either.
Feeling a little bit cheated on all this, as I'm sure many others will be if this isn't fixed soon.
