FollowWhite background
I must add my disappointment to those who have expressed concern about the white background. Having had cataract surgery my eyesight, in common with others, is sensitive to the glaring white. This isn't user friendly and has lost the unique appeal. Please rethink!

I have had eye laser surgery and I also find it very harsh.
The link given my Tigger101 is to instructions for firefox and Chrome how to implement alternative styles of one that looks very similar to old blip with dark grey and another with an easier to view white. I've done a blip showing what I see now in Firefox https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/1994027724829625378
I have to agree.
I thought I would like the white background and have tried to like it.
However I am coming to the conclusion that it is not inviting.
I used to spend my evenings relaxing and looking at blip. The black background was warm and friendly ...it invited me in.
The white one is cold and harsh. It looks like any other site and, I'm not using it. I blipped everyday, bar one, for 280 days. Now I'm losing interest.
I normally embrace change, it's quite sad really.
Ps, because I can't edit my post, I think the idea of this site is excellent but its soul is lost at the moment. Sadly, I'm glad I didn't sign for life.
