Really?

FollowSpelling.
In spite of being told elsewhere that this would be sorted, I notice that the spelling of cetain words is still in US English....ie 'favorites' instead of ' favourites'.
In the grand scheme of things, this probably doesn't matter all that much. ..but it's irritating to me. Or am I just getting old and picky?

Really what?
Not picky at all - blip is now just like all the other sites.
It says 'favourites' UK spelling on mine, in my profile. Where are you referring to?
@blouseybrown....
I'm using the android app on my mobile. When I go to give someone a heart, the words along the bottom of my screen read 'star', 'comment' and 'favorite'.
@Cailleach there's a separate forum for app issues. https://blipfoto.zendesk.com/hc/communities/public/topics/200142296-Android-App-Feedback
I suggest that you post there with any bugs you think they need to know about. I'm using the app on my phone and the website on my laptop. I assume that different people are working on the app versus the website and I also think they may be using some things off the shelf and adapting them rather than starting from scratch, but I may be wrong on that. I only say that as they may not be able to change the spelling on the app and also may not want to. I confess I hadn't spotted it, and whilst I like to preserve UK spelling, I think in the grand scheme of things on the changes that are happening here and the pressure that the small team must be under, this is a minor issue.
@blouseybrown. ...what's minor to you, may be major to me, and vice versa.
I don't presume to know what anyone else gets bothered by on this site - I only give my personal opinion.
Hey we have to live with "favourites" instead of "favorites." What the heck! (Kidding) I really am fine with either spelling.
@artistannie.....you're absolutely correct. You're saddled with UK spelling, which must be equally annoying.
As a pedantic Scot, I'd just like to be able to choose. :-)
