The 'views' issue

I am very disappointed that 'views' now only reflect internal views. I link to Blipfoto from my own website. This has resulted in people not only having the opportunity to see my photos but also finding Blipfoto and joining themselves! I hope you can get this sorted out asap.

Hi - everyone can still view your Blips! And find Blipfoto... It just means that at present the count is only reflecting those that are logged in to Blipfoto while viewing it. This is something we are working on as a priority.

The view counter updates every few minutes, so at times you might see comments on an image that shows no views initially. But when the count is refreshed, it will catch up.

Is this why previously veiwed pics with 100 + views now only has 7 views? Or why some have zero views when I know at least one person has looked at it? Its a bit demoralising to think noone is looking at my posts.

I can hardly believe that the huge difference in the count of views I have had in each of the last few days is attributable to external viewers' comments not being registered. In other words, if on average 50 internal blippers view my blog then the other 100 views I used to get are from external sources. This I simply do not believe. I do not have that many non blippers following me.
The other day one of the people I follow had no views but 4 comments.....how?
