I've given up trying to geotag - map opens on North America, and when I do find the spot there is no clear way to save, and I lose previously input data (title, description etc.)

I really do hope the map support is going to get some urgent attention - it's near as **** unusable at the moment. I'm still geotagged most of my new images, although it feels like a pretty futile and thankless task. Has anyone at blip tried to use the new geotagging stuff, or is there an assumption that blip is now really just a place for folks that use smart phones....

I have been able to tag every shot I have wanted to tag. Yes zooming in is a bit of a drag but not enough to put me off or stop me finding the place the shot was taken.

You don't need to save, just exit the map. Double click zooms in, dragging the map is easy. You may have to set the location marker a few times but it only gets saved when you finally exit the screen. And you can use Street Map to see actual locations which is a bonus in my opinion.
