We are due to get a partial solar eclipse in th UK tomorrow.
I'd like to have a go at photographing it, but I'm not sure of the safety aspects, camera settings etc.
I've got a Nikon D5300 and I have a range of filters including an ND.
Any advice welcome

I believe you need a special solar filter, anything less may damage your camera. Use a pinhole or colander to project the image onto white card, and take a photo of that - well, that's what I'm going to do anyway.
