You can go to https://blipfoto.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb/subscriptions and unfollow the topics you don't want to get notifications for (at least I think that's what that page is for)

Snagging - Email Spamming
This is not going to help a singe bit - but had 80 odd emails from here all about help topics........
In settings only ticked the blip message option, which I suppose it is but its not important.

Lumpysimon thankyou, you've saved my inbox. It seems this zendesk site defaults to email notification for any thread you comment on. Not a great setting if you ask me.

There is also an 'unfollow' button at the top of each thread (and a 'follow' one on threads you're not part of).
