Am I right in thinking that 'mapping' just doesn't work at the moment? If so, would it be possible to 'grey out' the icon/option until it does?

It does work, but hasn't the same functionality as previously. This is, according to another topic answer by Blip Central, due to be implemented once they have sorted out other bugs found now we have unwittingly beta tested the new site. Rather than starting this new topic there are other posts about mapping already in this forum (though I'm not surprised you couldn't find it, the forums are hardly easy to use).
I'd love to know how;-)
(I've lost all journal text when I try to add a location as I post and sod-all happens when I try to do the same as an edit after I've posted)
I've tried hard but I still can't find any answers or explanations in this so-called 'simpler-to-understand' forum......hey, it's not the end of the world and my shoulders are broad;-)
