I have the same question..as a fairly new blipper I want to be able to respond to people that comment on my photos and get feedback when I comment on their photos. I don't know if they are seeing my comments on my photos. How to know..even if it is just a "comment seen" icon or something. I want to get to know the other blippers but it will be hard if we cannot establish a conversation.

I used to like the fact that you had notification of ALL comments on a post that you'd commented on, so that you could go back and answer or read what others had put. There was also the option to turn that off under each post.
Is that coming back? That was part of the community, the chatting and getting to know each other. Now if you can remember a specific comment you want to look back on, you have to remember the poster/blipper and trail back to find the pic and only then can you find the comments section for that blip.
Will you be reinstating that service?
Also are we going to be able to see more than the last 20 comments on any posts?

Hi Mary, well you couldn't know if they'd seen your comments on the old blip but you could certainly know if they have commented back.
I think for new comers to blip that don't already have a base of friends it's going to be hard if they don't reinstate that comment thing.
It does tell you if they have commented back on your particular comment to them, but sometimes I want to know what others have said about the pic or the journal and it doesn't tell me if others have commented like the old blip did.
Lets hope when blip central get the bugs sorted they will get these little but very important other things sorted as it's very much part of the community spirit here.
Yes, I liked that feature too, and used it a lot, for the same reasons. The info I've seen suggests they don't intend to restore the comment-tracking feature because it's "too complicated"?? But hopefully we can put pressure on them to do it once all the bugs have been fixed!
I hope that feature comes back. I think the ability to follow/unfolllow a particular journal entry on Blip was probably the thing I most liked about it.
