Someone I follow reached their 1,000th on Christmas Day. I received no notification by email or on the site. I've checked and my settings are correct.

Disappointing to no longer get notifications if a post makes it onto the 'Popular' pages which replace the 'Spotlight' presumably. A rare occurrence for myself, but to miss it is a shame and quite demotivating. Will this be reinstated?

I hope it is reinstated, but it won't make much of a difference for me. I can't imagine ever getting to page 1 of Popular in this new system. I'd have to be one of the big hitters, whose photos now stay up for days on the front pages instead of 24 hours! Not happening with my photographic skills, haha. So I guess even if they do notify, it won't matter since they'll say something like you've made page 20 of our popular photos. :)
