Hi, I'm new to this site. To enter a competition, do I have to have a Twitter account so I can tag? I don't use Twitter...
Not at all. When you post an entry, look for the tags section at the bottom of the screen; add the tag there, i.e. for the 'Lovers of Light' competition, add 'loversoflight' to each entry you'd like to enter.

No problem. We used to get notifications to say when new users started, and that helped ease them all into using the site, but not so sure that's set up on the new version yet. Hope you get settled in soon.
Um, so one more question; it looks like you can enter competitions as many times as you like? I can't find a users manual on this site! I'm slowly finding my way around and working out how it works.
Hi, hope you don't mind me jumping on your thread? I've also tried uploading photos to the lovers of light competition and have added the tag LoversofLight . However, when I click onto competition entries, my photos aren't there. Any suggestions?

From what I can tell, and my experience, the search function on this website doesn't work very well. As long as you have tagged it correctly, then I guess it should register somewhere at the controllers end. I've also found that the number of viewers and stars don't necessarily correspond with the correct numbers.
I've also had some discussion about tagging on this new user area - creating categories. You might want to have a read of that because it talks about tags as well.
I think that there's still a few teething problems as they upgrade the website, and apart from some of the problems they are having, I'm loving the site. The users are all so encouraging and friendly and there's bound to be someone out there who can offer you more info than I can. Good luck :)
