You can still add the position of you photo by navigating to the position and clicking there. A litle flag appears. It is an awful faff as the map always comes up on somewhere in America (maybe it's the Polaroid headquarters) rather than the place where you last clicked as it did previously. Quite frankly, I don't know why I'm still flagging the photo on the map but I always think, "they must have fixed that by now". Maybe they will one day!

Before the website change when I added my capture location in Lightroom it was recognised as I uploaded the image to Blipfoto. Now Blipfoto doesn't acknowledge the location and when I tick the 'Add to Map' box I get a map of the whole world with no way of entering any location detail. I am beginning to agree with many of the other contributors to these forums who are asking questions about the so called 'improvements' to this new site.

Before the website changed I always used the map feature, it was easy to type in the location and scan to find the exact location. Now there is no feature to type in your location, so it is tedious to scan and find your location especially if you don't live in North America. I gave up last night as it was so difficult to find the location. I search for ages and once I eventually did find the correct location, I accidentally clicked something that ended up in me losing my entry and had to start all over again. I couldn't be bothered to trawl through the map again and risk losing my entry a second time, so it has no map information. I hope the map feature improves, because I like to see where photos are taken and search the map for photos in my area. If adding location information continues to be difficult, I fear that people will stop using it which would be a shame.
