WHY TF is there a "Search" facility?
Could not find "Schlumbergia by me".
Found it the HARD way - it WAS tagged without #
Added # still no joy.
Added "Flower", "Easter", "Cactus"
Searched AGAIN - no joy.
Added # to all - no joy.
Tried with & without capitals - NO joy on ANY word.
Put "Schlumbergia on Blipfoto by kanyl" in to Google©
Offered 4 choices: One was "Schlumbergera" ignored it.
Second try of thre remaining choices got me to
GUESS?

The search is pretty cr*p nowadays. But when I searched for #Schlumbergia I did find 5 blips by you.

And the old "tagged x by y" search method still works, so you can do this:

But don't try to search on multiple tags. Despite what BlipCentral claim, it doesn't work.
It's just happened again - given me the idea that it searches TITLES not TAGS.
This is what happened:-
Found Wet Sleddale the hard way, as usual.
There it was - TAGGED, no (hash)#
Added #
Searched -Got "We couldn't find any results for your search query."
Several by other folk cropped up, some tags visible.
One was tagged "Cumbria, Water, Waterfall, landscape" NO mention in TAGS of any type of Sleddale WHATSOEVER, except in the title line.
W T F does the "Search" facility search FOR???????

Stuff BlipCentral didn't explain about tags in the new "improved" system:
When you enter a tag, you don't use a hash. You just type the tag you want, separating multiple tags with commas.
When you search for a tag, you must use the hash, otherwise it will just search for that word anywhere in the entry.
In the old Blipland, you could have spaces in tags, which wasn't really standard behaviour elsewhere. To search for a tag with spaces you had to put quotes round it, i.e. tagged "Wet Sleddale". Caused endless confusion. Now you can't have spaces, and they converted all existing tags to comply. So if you tagged something "Wet Sleddale" pre Polarbliparoid, it's now tagged WetSleddale. If you enter a tag with spaces in it now, the spaces will be removed automatically, so Wet Sleddale will become WetSleddale. Oh, and one small mercy: searching isn't case-sensitive.
So in BlipCentral's terms, it's all working just fine. You just have to figure out the rules yourself because they didn't tell you.
I miss the date search. I could search, for example, "tagged Scotland this week", or "tagged Lego by me this month", and it would show me this week's or this month's content only. Now it's a random mix of everything.
