Edit for 1hr only?

I was excited when I saw the icon for editing comments - at last!
I tried it:-
1) Why can we only edit comments for 1hr?? I may spot the mistake after an hour, especially if I originally posted on my mobile.
2) I made the amendments to my comment but then I just got an error message which said it had failed to upload. Can't get it to work at all.

wouldn't work for me either, also think that the one hour limit is far too short!

As a test I have just edited the entry I put up last night. I went to the pencil icon which is shown when you click on the "More Info" link.

Sorry I should have included this in my first post. I am able to efit entries back to the 2nd Jan (today is the 7th)

Getting the same error too! You can edit the journal entries fine, but as you say the comments edit is generating the 'failed_to_log' message.
