instructionsd on how to re-create blipfoto "classic"

If you want the grey, the always visible calendar, the always visible exif, the always visible "one year ago" image etc, then I've linked to my instructions on my journal here:
https://www.polaroidblipfoto.com/entry/1999934830514539260

It's just my attempt to get blip back to the way i liked it. The mobile site is awesome, but I just missed things from the old site when on the desktop.

There seem to be a lot of folk jumping ship because they don't like the new design. If this helps keep them around while the blip boffins work on getting all the new and old features up and running then all the better.

Cheers

Thanks rxs. I am very much enjoying using your version of style that is new blip function with old blip colours. I like mostly the new functions and layout, just find the old colour more familiar and comforting, reminding me of the place I used to like hanging out.

Really good. I'm not bothered about the grey/white, but I love being able to see the whole picture. Well done!

I know you offered this "as is"...... but Firefox 57 (Quantum) has broken this wonderful add on (Greasemonkey one).  Presumably their new APIs are not compatible... I have tried a couple of mods to your script but nothing has fixed it. The browse pages are still grey but these are not 'rearranged' like the entry page which has things like the movecal function. These pages are now white and do not rearrange. Any pointers as to where I could be looking for help witht this?

Yes, thanks - I have already tried stylish, but that only changes the background colour and fonts.

The greasemonkey script resized the picture so you could see it all, expanded the exif info automatically (without having to click the 'More Info' link, and it displayed the full calendar without having to expand the one at the top of the page. It also expanded the tags and added the 'One Year Ago' link to the entry screen.

I didn't realise anyone was still using my scripts and stuff! If I get a chance I'll take a look at Firefox. That it still works in chrome has piqued my interest :-)

Hi there - I have been playing all day to no avail  BUT..... I have tried the script in Tampermonkey and it works fine! There is a lot of ink on Greasemonkey forums about being unable to install scripts - so I guess the problem is with their newest version
