What is the use of tags on the photos in blipfoto? Can I look for photos with certain tags?

The use is to find similar photos, especially helpful with some of the challenges which require a specific tag so that others who participate in the challenge can see everyone else's answer to that challenge e.g. monoMonday. Either click on the tag of a journal entry or enter the term preceded with a hash (#) in the search box at the topw right of the page.
Thank you, seems very useful. But it doesn't really work for me. I tagget a photo with the tag "arkiv" (wich is "archive" in Swedish). When I search for this tag I get the answer "We couldn't find any results for your search query." Maybe it takes time before the system can sort it out?
