RE-ARRANGED WARWICK BLIPMEET TUESDAY 26 APRIL

We have had to move the Warwick Blipmeet from 29 April to Tuesday 26 April. Hope this doesn't cause problems for anyone. Could you please indicate below if you are able to come, or email me?

We'll aim for an 11:00 meet up.
Easiest place in the middle of town is Cafe Nero - at the top of Swan St and shown on the pdf map in my dropbox folder - linked in a previous message.
We could meet up in the park cafe, not quite so nice but it is next to the car park in St Nicholas Park.
Let Rose & me know your preferences.

Good to see the interest in this blip meet - looking forward to it.

For anyone arriving by train - be sure to go to Warwick Station, Warwick Parkway is a little way out of the town.

Just found out about the Warwick Blipmeet from Lozarithm.
Sadly (for me!) I work Mondays to Wednesdays, but would love to join you another time (we live a few miles outside of Stratford).

For anyone not familiar with Warwick there is a map in my Dropbox folder which shows the the car parks here:

St Nicholas is the easiest to find, on the Banbury Road not far from the bridge over the river. It would be around a 10 minute walk up past the castle and into the town for our meet up place in Cafe Nero. You can also park in Linen St multi storey if you don't mind driving into the town, very close to the centre and only two or three minutes walk.

Some of the places we might visit charge an entrance fee, Mill St Gardens is £2 (ish) St Mary's is a donation, The Victorian Garden is £4 (ish) but there are several other good photo opportunities just from the road or pavements.

Hope the weather is kind!

Last minute Info ... I had a wander around the ton this morning checking we would be ok in all of the potential places and they are all happy with the idea.

We can decide which we want to go to when we meet up and can see what the weather might bring :-)

I'm still hoping to be there, but I may well not stay very long - I completely wiped myself out last weekend.

Many thanks to everyone who came along today - hope you all enjoyed the sights of Warwick, even if we didn't get to the castle. Looks like the weather held of just long enough - snowing now!

Thanks Steve, for organising a really enjoyable day. It was great to see everyone, and I loved the church and hospital (despite all the moaning about the church tower!). Now trying to cull my photos!
