Norwich meets

Anyone interested in meeting in central norwich. Probably at a W/E when there's lots to photograph around the market.
I'd suggest meet at The Forum in case it's wet.

I'd be interested in a Norfolk blipmeet but preferably somewhere more outdoorsy as it's too far for me to leave the dog

Hi lisa24270. Can I suggest that if you want an outdoorsy meet to include your dog, you post and set that up.
I'm trying to set up something in the city as I no longer travel easily !.

Hi Nicoiseannie, I'm suggesting 28th August on my post today, with a link, it's the date of the Duck Race. Fun ,colourful, good photo's. Can I suggest you do a search for hotels to find what would suite you.

Hi mycroftw, thanks for a supportive answer. When would be the right time ??.
I guess if folk stay at the University, there is the wonderful Henri Cartier-Bresson Paris exhibitiion at the Sainsbury. For anyone who doesn't know that, it's worth a photographic visit in itself, for the early Norman Foster building.

I'm game most times except early July when I'm away ( till 11th). 28th August is fine as far as I know. Hope the weather improves

Thanks for this mycroftw. My e-address is on my page, so do contact me via that if you want to.
I'm hoping to get to The Sainsbury again soon to see again the Cartier-Bresson. Would you like to meet there for that in June ??. What date would suite?

Hi - I'm up for a meet. 28th August looks OK for me at the moment. And reading down the replies, I would also be up for an earlier meet at the Sainsbury if the date was suitable.

Thanks for a response. Perhaps you've seen: I've asked mycroftw what dates suite for Sainsbury and pointed out my e-address is on my home page. Perhaps you could let me know via either.

Hi. I have tried emailing you using the email address on your page - it keeps being returned as undeliverable. In June, I'm a bit busy, due to going away for a family wedding. I just looked at my calendar and realised I have very few free days - 9th and 10th and 27th.

It seemed easier to mail you directly but it bounced. So -
I am happy to do any day except
8-12 June and 29-30 June
as I’m not in Norwich.

I’d prefer not 19 or 23 as my wife has garden visits fixed.
Sorry to be difficult - most of the time I’m doing nothing then suddenly it all happens.

My recollection is that the Sainsbury centre is shut Mondays so about one of 15-16-17 June or perhaps the following week. I’ll do my best to fit in.

My apologies to mycrofw & norfokdoc & thanks for letting me know of my mistake. My e is [email protected]. I've corrected it on my details
Sainsbury is closed Mondays. So looking at the dates mycroftw & norfolkdoc are offering, I'm at a loss to see a date you both can manage, though perhaps my tired brain can't see it !. Help someone please ??.

I think that either
(1) You two go ahead with the CB exhibition and we have something in August
(2) We do the 27th but change the venue eg the Cathedral

What do you think?
