Gloucester Blip Meet

one of my blips was from the Dock area and Technophobe suggested it may make an interesting Blip Meet. you are a few minutes away from the Cathedral and the Folk Museum as well plus the Quays shopping mall if that takes your fancy. i would say in the week is best as it would be quieter . i'll just throw a date out there to see the response, Wednesday, October 12th.

I love the idea of a Gloucester Blip Meet but sadly can't do October 12th. Hopefully, you'll arrange another one soon :)

this will be weather dependant i think for the most part so will need to be mindful of that.
Landscapeartist, i see no problem in setting another date should the need arise. open to suggestions on that from anyone really but definitely not a weekend unless there is something really special on that you want to see.

We can be fairly flexible but I do have an appointment on that afternoon. It could be altered if there were others who wanted to do that date.

Think I could possibly do it - might have to rearrange a few things - can do other dates if people want

Would love to but scheduled to be in Southmead Hospital on the 11/12/13. I'll try not to make the Blips for those days too gory!! There's going to be a period of recovery afterwards of course so it wouldn't be able to do anything for a while.

gathering a bit of pace now :) so will fix a meeting point. i would suggest "The Needle" a large pointed metal sculpture it is at the town end of the area, if you can find my September 16th image of the concrete barge the Needle is one of the extras. the car park is accessed from Southgate Street or the other would be the multi storey for the Quays shopping complex which is at the opposite end of the area to the Needle.

I love this idea, but unfortunately I'm out of work and although arranging things this week I can't promise ill be able to make the 19th if a job comes my way. I've been to the docks before, they're fabulous :)

car parking is either Gloucester Quays multi storey @£6.60 for up to 6 hrs or Southgate Moorings which is £6 all day ,up to 6pm. if you search them you will see where they are. Southgate is closest to the Needle, you can see it from there but it is not a big car park compared to the other.
