I've now tried editing the above twice and lost the test twice as it won't add - grrr!  So I'm writing here instead!

After a query from blipper Freespiral I asked if you would like to add wild ferns to the wildflowers.  One blipper said 'no', and indeed ferns are not wildflowers, but ten of you said 'yes'.  So let's give it a go and perhaps take a raincheck in a couple of weeks.  I'm not expecting many of these entries, but it could be fun.  I'd just like to emphasise these must be WILD ferns, nothing from the local plant nursery please ;))
