I'm sad to see that yours and others are unanswered too.
My current profile is new, but I've also been here about 7 or 8 years... I'm sad the community I remember is no more.
I can't help you fully, I lost most of my camera equipment in my divorce, (along with everything bar the kids) but I do have a camera body that I'm not using as I have no lenses, and as I have to replace the expensive prime lenses, I'm probably going to go all in and get a full frame body.
It's a canon SLR, would you like me to send it to you? You'll need to get a lens, but you could get a basic one off eBay for about £20 and take it from there.
I do give shit away more than I can afford lol, but I'm feeling so disappointed about the loss of a community here that get me through tough times that I feel compelled to answer your question and offer what I can.
