Dark mode

I agree, the plain white background does nothing for images. The long mourned grey background was so much better, and showed images to their best effect.

There are several extensions to select from on most browsers. The two I use most are Stylus, which renders the site extremely close to the original (thanks to a fellow blipper) and the other is called Dark Reader. For reference, I use the Firefox browser and the Brave browser (which gets its extensions from the Chrome store).
