A a good question! I cannot find itt. It used to be in Settings which you get to by clicking on your name on your journal entry, then clicking your name on your About page. I would have expected it to be under Journal entries.

I'm looking on an iPad at present, I'll look again on a laptop tomorrow and get back to you if no one else has.

Exif data is so useful for people to be able to see. It helps them understand how you got the shot and enables others to help you if you have a problem with a blip.

Long ago in the earlier (the classic grey background) days of Blipfoto, there was an option to do this within your posts, and turn on/off some other features too. But when things changed dramatically to Blipfoto using the white background, as currently, the show/hide option for EXIF data was removed. Most likely to simplify things behind the scenes, managing the site's data.

So you can't do it within Blipfoto, but you can with various photo editing software/apps. If the file you upload has it removed, then none can be shown, and hence that's how some Blippers don't have that information showing.

If you don't know how to do it with your photo editing software/app, then you could either do an Internet search on how to do it... or ask here, with plenty relevant details of what you are using.

A point of note - if you do remove the EXIF data, Blipfoto won't be able to detect the correct date that the photo was taken, so you will have to be careful to select the correct date. That's particularly important if you back-Blip at all (post entries for older dates than today). You can correct the date later if your Blip has been posted against the wrong date, by using the edit option.

Hope that's of use!

Best wishes.

I use a program called imageOptim to strip out EXIF data when I don't want to show it.
