I have a "protected" journal for various reasons besides my public journal. I'd rather those blips didn't show up in the recent blips feed, too. It would be a lot easier to tick off a box to make this happen than respond to everyone who requests to follow that journal without sounding rude. And responding to the request is less rude than not responding at all.

FollowMake a post private
Hi all,
I don't know about you but sometimes I want to journal just for myself. I think this platform is awesome for sharing content, and there a just some times I'd like to keep content to myself, but still have it in the same place as the rest. Because sometimes, you know, you might want to keep a post to yourself, for a variety of reasons: personal memory, intimate thoughts, ...
To do this, rather than using the "Protect your entries" option, which hides your entire content from users who don't follow you, I am seeking a way to journal which would allow you to choose individual posts you want to make private.
While, by default, all new posts you submit are public and shared with the community, which is great,
For example, I see a "Make private" checkbox on the "New entry" page, with this option checked, no one else but you would see that post.
What do you think about that?
Cheers!
PS: I've been around the forums & FAQ but haven't found anything about this idea.
