Croome Park Wednesday 9th Feb '22
A few of us (Technophobe, HildasRose, LooseCanon, StevenG) are meeting at Croome on Wednesday 9th Feb. It would be good to see a few other blippers there too.
Croome has plenty of space and a variety of blip subjects. the Capability Brown Landscaped parkland, Robert Adam temples, the house itself (which has a chequered history) and the RAF Defford museum are all open. Only the Walled Garden is closed.
It is quite a walk to the house but there is a buggy service which deals with the big hill. Probably wise to have 'outdoor footwear' if you want to walk around the lake.
We're aiming to meet at the restaurant (next to the car park) at 10:30
Croome is in Worcestershire, between Upton on Severn and Pershore.

This is just down the road from me , so I'll be there. I have an afternoon commitment unfortunately otherwise would invite you all back for lunch !

I'd love to come but can't as I'm having a knee replacement two days before. A very weak excuse but it's the best that I can come up with. Maybe next time?
