One of the reasons I paid for full membership (and lifetime at that!) was to be able to choose my own thumbnail. Why on earth have you taken that away? It is frustrating to have my thumbnail presented so badly that no-one will want to make the effort to look at my photo.

Even worse, the thumbnails on our existing blips all seem to have been reset to the middle of the picture too. Members went to a lot of trouble to choose and set those thumbnails - and now all that has been undone!
Will it be possible to remedy this, please?
aargh! I haven't uploaded an entry with the new system yet, so I hadn't noticed it. But all my carefully chosen thumbnails are gone. One of the aspects of publishing I like most :( Please bring this back.
Agree, this is/was one of the main reasons to me for being a member, being able to choose your own thumbnail.
I hope this is one feature that will be restored during the ongoing rebuilding process - it can add interest to the browsing process, adding a little intrigue.
I need to see the thumbnails showing the LATEST entry of the people I am following. Now, on my PC I only get pages of their profile pics and no idea if they have posted a new blip until I click again on each person's profile pic! Waste of time! yet on my MOBILE I can see their latest blip thumbnails! Why is it in this mess?
Agreed, it is really annoying not to be able to choose my own thumbnail and show my pictures at their best. It was one of the reasons I paid fr full membership and I mind that it has gone. Please restore this asap.
The thumbnail for the 'Avatar' is now a problem. If you don't want to insert a selfie or anything wlse, the thumbnail shows an outline of a head. Its DEFINITELY a MALE head! Is that fair?
I agree with TeeJay on this, it is the reason I first paid for membership and one of the main reasons I got life membership, and only just realised it wasn't on the new site as the first few uploads I did were from my phone and I'm used to not being able to choose the thumbnail there, which on my phone doesn't bother me as those shots are simply grab shots, or sometimes shots taken just not to miss a day. But most of my shots are ones I take some time on, and it's those shots I want to present in the best possible way.
