replying to new comments
Rather than giving the profile thumbnail of the person leaving the new comment, it would be more helpful if it was the thumbnail of the blip the comment relates to. That way you could know which blip it related to without having to go to each individual comment post and reply that way.

You can go to the blip a comment relates to by clicking on the small photo icon next to the reply arrow (on the right of the comment). The blip thumbnail is what is shown in the comment list on the app and it does make more sense.
