Also 18 tiles per page is at least 3 too many - or is this dependent on individual screen space?

Thumbnail page seems very lifeless. Here's what i'd prefer: Get rid of ugly thick white space between tiles. Get rid of names on tiles - that looks very untidy. Make tiles smaller - they are too big. Make the tile do something when you mouse over - like grow bigger and then show journal name or even make them mono again and turn coloured on mouseover. Doesn't do anything for me atm and looks undynamic and takes up too much screen space so I have to scroll down to see them all.

Just tried Android app. That works well - no white boarders and I can see that the names constantly on show are more relevant to the user. Nice one ;-)
Actually I like the thumbnail page - though it is too 'white'
I think they have pretty much eliminated mouseovers because they are prioritising touch screens where mouseovers don't work.
But an app is a standalone. Surely they can write that stuff into a desktop version.
Well, the idea of responsive sites is to have one site that works everywhere with minimal duplication/reworking for different devices.
They wanted feedback. It's up to blip I guess if they want to act on any of it.
