I second that!! Yes, there's things I don't like as much as on blip1, but I can live with that.....and yes, there's some reduced functionality, but that can only improve in time!

FollowIt's All Good
Maybe not perfect, but it is getting there. I was pondering this morning about my membership - I've lived with blip for 4.5 years now, and I need to renew, but I couldn't find the button - then I browsed a bit more, and discovered the Membership post under my profile.
It's coming together, maybe leaving it a little longer to be developed might have produced less negative feedback, but the thing with software is, you could be developing it for ever before you have something everyone is happy about.
The stats will return, I've been promised (by BC); the counters will be re-calibrated, and not only show the people who are currently logged on.
These two were my major concerns. Am also concerned about my picture size - and not being able to view my picture and words on the same screen - but it's not insurmountable, I can scroll; and it's the words with me that count; Although I can't tell you how delighted I am when I manage a photo that takes more than a passing interest.
Tis the season of good will. Let's give BC the time it needs to pull the answers together, and be calm :-)

one of the problems is that the site wasn't fit for purpose when it was launched . if you look at the threads on here , you'll see that there are issues with practically everything on here , from posting to stats . that's without theissue of a totally different site to the one we signed and payed up for
But you shouldn't forget that blipcentral were getting constant complaints about uploading problems BEFORE the changeover.....'between a rock and a hard place' situation maybe?
yes , about uploading , which only required a bigger server , now people are complaining about most aspects of the site . that includes ( quite rightly ) the completely new look of the place which no one ( so far as BC have indicated , no-one had complained about )
