Perhaps you would be better taking the advice given in the para at the start of ideas and suggestions. Contact them directly as they say they may not be able to answer individual questions.

I also fail to see how asking a question members can't answer fit into the "General Discussion" section.

+1 for Jerra. Contact them directly as it's an issue specific to you that can't be answered by other blippers, and BlipCentral won't discuss individual account details on public forums anyway. Whenever I've used the direct contact link, I've had a response within a couple of hours.

What is it you think you bought that you haven't got that would entitle you to a refund? You bought life membership, you have life membership. Did you buy the promise of a grey background or whatever? Good luck with the solicitor thing. If they're nice they'll give you a biscuit with your tea before showing you the door.

It seems like a general question to me. People who signed up for lifetime membership were taking a risk, and showing trust and faith in Blip.

Being "excellent" prohibits me from responding to you honestly. But, if you put your bank details up I'd be more than happy to refund your £75 myself. You are still blipping on a daily basis so your case would be pretty weak anyway. And as Instography has said... what is it exactly that you're not getting that would entitle you to a refund?

i have contacted them , the reason i posted here is because i've had no answer since i first asked on the 18th of Dec . i don't expect insults and put downs to a genuine question . to answer your questions , i bought life membership of a site that no longer exists , both in look and useage .

also this is not just a place for members to give answers blip central and blip support can both answer questions here and as they have removed the thread on the changes there is no where else to post it

When you bought life membership, did you believe than nothing on the site would ever change? That's very unrealistic. Web sites have to change in order to adapt to new devices and new ways of using the web. The website still exists, you can still post photos, comment, favourite, follow other journals. Yes, there are bugs and a few missing features which are not being fixed as quickly as I would like, but I don't really see how you can claim you didn't get what you paid for.

FWIW, I paid for life membership too, but I wasn't naive enough to believe that it guaranteed me an unchanging blip experience till the end of my natural life.

Veronica . what a lot of people don't understand , was the uniqueness of Blip this site has changed completely , the layout , the colour , most of the functions , still don't i can't see all of my pictures on the screen . if you ( or others ) have nothing useful to write ( apart from badly covered insults ) don't bother

try looking at it another way , if you buy a phone on contract and you're very happy with it , then one day , they say , you can't use that phone any more , use this . " this " turns out to be an inferior phone that doesn't work properly . how would you feel then ?

The fact remians that what you joined still exists and still allows you to post an image a day and stores that image which is all it ever claimed to do the rest was extras. I am not even sure there has been any change in T & Cs.
