Whilst I totally understand that a lot of us are really sad about the news today, I think the use of this tagline in such a manner is crass and in very poor taste.
It doesn't even begin to compare.
A business has gone into liquidation.
No-one died.
Have some respect.

Oh, I took it as a gentle reminder that, although blip's demise is sad, it wasn't a tragedy.

I agree. I find it a bit worrying how many people think it's a perfectly delightful comparison. The murder of 11 innocent people and a business going into liquidation.
