Hi, I cannot upload from my desktop. I receive the message : Please submit a jpeg. I've had this problem for a while in Old Blipfoto but was able to upload using the basic up-loader. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem - and with the old blipfoto too - like you I was using the basic uploader and it worked fine - now grrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I know this doesn't help you but you are not alone if that makes you feel any better!!

I can't upload either .. the publish button doesn't work .. no one can seem to find the answer, I've sent an email to blip central and two messages in here .. but still can't upload .. it's two days now!! Getting cheesed off.
Same here. Used to get round it with the basic uploader, but that is no longer an option. In my case, I think it doesn't like JPEGs produced by Lightroom. Everything else reads them OK. If there is no fix, then I'm off blip!
I've not received a reply from blip central either but have had lots of suggestions and advice from blippers, here is some of it. Try a different browser .. and logging in and out, but what worked for me was I used a different laptop and on that one I got an error message when I uploaded my image that said it was too small .. I changed the image size and hey ho it uploaded right off, but on my laptop I use all the time I wasn't getting that error message, so had no clue why I couldn't publish it. If you've got another machine try that or if not .. try changing the size of your image .. try making it smaller or larger, whatever you think it needs and try again .. good luck.
frankbrett suggested using Google Chrome to upload - it worked for me - YAY!!!!

I have also received an answer from someone at Blipcentral ...... I know they must have been stacked out with complaints and queries .... now I can upload to my journal I will take a bit of a backseat with negatives and positives and see what happens in the coming weeks .....
Basic uploader doesn't work
I am no longer able to use BASIC UPLOADER either for quite a while now but I can upload using ADVANCED LOADER instead which is easy enough but you don't see uploaded photo. If you want to use ADVANCED UPLOADER click on BASIC UPLOADER then you can upload as normal. I missed a few BLIPS as was not able to upload. No idea why the basic uploader no longer working...

Interesting to see this old topic pop up again. I've not used the Basic Uploader for years. Will try it next time and see what what happens....
I have managed to use the Basic Uploader on today's Blip. I am using Windows 10 and Google Chrome though.
