I had tagged for incstance, family. I have found with new blip that you have to go back to a pic that had that tag on, then if you click on that tag of 'family' it does take you to all other pics with that tag, but ALSO in amongst your own blips are strangers blips .. nothing to do with my journal at all. I'd say there are about 3 or 4 per page that aren't mine.

Is that going to be fixed? And are you going to have a tag feature on the front page where you can easily click and find those particular pics you've tagged?

It doesn't need to be fixed, it works the same way it used to except that they have switched to Twitter-style tags and usernames. Tag your photos the way you always have, nothing's changed there. Then in the search box, type:

#tagname @me

e.g. #blue @me will find all the photos by you tagged as blue. You can put any other username in there to find photos with that tag by a specific person.

That's nothing like the way it worked! You used to be able to see the word 'tag' on your profile page and click on it 'once' and all those tags would come up. Why mess up a one click system and replace it with that .. makes no sense!

I rarely used to click on those. I just used to type for example "tagged christmas by me" into the search box. I rather liked the plain English search system -- it was one of the things that made Blip unique.

You still can click on the blue tags next to your blip, but I think one thing that might have changed is that previously this did a search for photos by you with that tag (not sure about this as I rarely used it). But now it just searches for that tag on all photos. So when you get the results, you'll see the tag name in the input box at the top of the page of thumbnails. Add @me after the tagname and it will filter it for only your photos. I'm not defending this BTW -- it's not very intuitive!

Thanks Veronica .. yes that's what I meant, you could just one click on the word tag and it brought up only your own tags, now it brings up others with the same word. I'll use the way you've suggested but I'm sure to forget it, I'll have to write it down. I wish they'd stick with ease of use functions rather go round the houses for the same result.
