Stratford Races 10th July
After many requests to organise another Stratford races blip meet I have finally come up with a suitable day - 10th July.
The last meet was a very successful and it's a fun afternoon out.
Please note - this does not involve buying a ticket to enter the racecourse and battle with the crowds. This is much better. Firstly it's free. Secondly you get a chance to get really close to several of the fences with some excellent vantage points. There is also a nearby tearoom where we can retreat to between races.
I will post details nearer the time. The race times haven't been published yet but it will probably be in the afternoon. It's 2 weeks until the Stratford Races meet. I still haven't got timings but it is usually in the afternoon from around 2pm. The races are approximately every 30 minutes (with a cafe we can retire to in between!)
We meet at the Greenway cycle path car park NOT the racecourse. Do not follow signs to the races as you will have to pay, you won't get so good a view, there will be lots of crowds and most important of all you won't meet the other blippers.

The first race on Sunday is at 2.20pm. I intend to get there around 1.45pm.
If you arrive and can't see anyone, just walk a short distance along the Greenway cycle path and you should find us beside the course.
There is a large car park but it can sometimes be a bit busy, particularly if the weather is nice. There are housing estates nearby where you can probably park if you have a problem.

It has just been pointed out to me that Warwickshire County Council have introduced charges at the Stratford Greenway Car Park.
However it's not too expensive at only 50p per hour
